The Multilateral Synergy Coalition (MSC) was officially established today, November 17, 2025, during the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30), held in Brazil. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was symbolically signed in the Amazon Rainforest, highlighting the essential role of tropical forests in global climate stability, biodiversity preservation, and human health.

Among the signatories are Embrapa, Instituto LIMA, SeaGate Global, ADFIAP, the China Cities Development Foundation (CCDF), the Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI), among others.
The goal of the MSC is to accelerate the transition to a circular and sustainable economy, promoting multilateral cooperation in strategic sectors such as sustainable finance, agriculture, forestry, renewable energy, technology, and carbon emissions control and trading.
“This Memorandum represents not only a commitment to the transition to a circular economy, but also a historic milestone for Brazilian agricultural science and innovation, with global impact,” highlighted the representatives of the Coalition.
With the signing of these agreements, the MSC and its partners reinforce their commitment to mobilizing resources, fostering innovation, and ensuring social and environmental inclusion, paving the way for a resilient and equitable future on a global scale.
